She also tells you why for the most part, you should not give advice unless you’re asked to as well as how important it is to develop your own “NO muscle” so that you can protect your time and stay on track. And, she tells you when it might be a good idea to suggest to a friend or family member to seek professional therapeutic help. Anna also elaborates on the concept of Generativity—why being creative in your adult life is critical for continued growth and healthy well being— and how the process of writing can result in Self Knowledge.
